SWOT Analysis
In conducting a SWOT analysis for Coach, I gained valuable insights into both the brand’s positioning in the luxury accessories market and the practical application of strategic analysis tools. I gained proficiency in applying the SWOT analysis framework, which allowed me to critically evaluate both internal and external factors affecting a brand. I learned to assess market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscapes. Additionally, the exercise improved my ability to identify actionable strategies for a brand to leverage strengths and opportunities while addressing weaknesses and mitigating threats. This process helped me better understand brand positioning, competitive analysis, and strategic brand management.
Argumentative Debate
I was tasked with developing an argumentative speech on an assigned topic The assignment required me to choose a position to arugue and research both sides of the topic, then construct a persuasive speech that effectively communicated my position. Key components of the speech included a strong thesis, logical structure, and the use of rhetorical appeals—ethos, pathos, and logos. The live presentation helped me refine my verbal communication and delivery techniques, improving my confidence in presenting arguments persuasively and handling audience questions or challenges.
Social Media Audit
I worked with a team to conduct a detailed analysis of the Scranton Area Community Foundation's social media platforms. Based on our research and findings we developed the social media audit for the non profit and presented a slide deck to its staff.
